RUN MDI:
Local Traffic Advisory
Sunday
October 20, 2024
To our MDI neighbors and local residents
Thank you for sharing our roads.
MDI Marathon Weekend is an incredible opportunity for our entire community to shine its brightest. Chances are, you know someone who’s running or volunteering this year, or someone who’s done so in the past.
Race organizers also recognize that MDI Marathon Day can be a bit of a headache for those locals simply trying to get from Point A to Point B, near the end of a very long tourist season. We appreciate your cooperation on race day, and we hope that the information below is helpful.
Important: Local residents of closed sections of road will be allowed thru as foot-traffic allows. Please drive slowly, yield to runners, expect delays, and plan accordingly. Thank you!
The MDI Marathon was founded in 2002 and created to leave more than footprints in the communities where we all love to run. Last year's Beyond the Finish Line charity fundraising, gift giving, scholarships, and grants initiative had an impact on the MDI community that totaled $45,138.00.
